What Does the following X-ray Indicate? 

my son has a primary complex and his latest xray result is hazed densities are seen in both lung field, the vascular markings are not accentured, the heart is not enlarged, diaphgragm and sulci are intact. the impressiuon is: pnuemonitis bilateral. what does it mean?? pls answer. thanks.

Welcome to health care magic.

1.The x-ray report suggest there is haziness seen in the both lung fields with no prominent vascular marking - which is seen in any alveolar pathologies with alveolar filling.
2.It has been described as inflammatory changes in your report - which is well described.
3.Primary complex is term given in case of pulmonary tuberculosis - about which not described.
4.The findings will be fibrosis, cavities , cystic changes are seen - in case of healed infection granulomatous changes are seen.
5.In case of pneumonitis / lung inflammation - a course of antibiotic will be helpful.
